Natasha PatriarcaRegistered Massage Therapist
Natasha graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2011. During her two years of training, Natasha studied Swedish massage and many related modalities such as myofascial release techniques, manual lymphatic drainage and techniques that promote healthy and functional joints throughout the body. She is also familiar with a wide range of hydrotherapy techniques, which involve the use of water, for pain relief and treatment.
Natasha obtained her certificate, Trimesters: Massage Therapy Education, by completing 30 hours of training at Sunnybrook Hospital in the pre/postnatal, maternal and newborn units. Her goal is to provide safe and effective treatments for clients with needs ranging from sports massage and deep tissue to more superficial massage such as relaxation. She strives to educate her clients on the necessity of remedial home exercise and stretches to promote long-term health and wellness. Natasha is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) as well as the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO).
Kimberly KentRegistered Massage Therapist
Kimberly graduated Cum Laude from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in May 2015, and has been a part of the Active Family team since October 2015.Throughout her massage therapy program, she learned a variety of massage treatment techniques and hydrotherapy modalities which are useful for treating many different musculoskeletal conditions. With a lot of hands on training, she realised the importance of recognizing what type of treatment is best suited for each client.Kimberly is committed to helping each client achieve their personal goals for treatment as effectively and safely as possible. Helping clients to understand the importance of home care by teaching them how they can practise proper posture, stretching and strengthening exercises to help achieve their goals.Kimberly is enthusiastic about continued education and excited to expand her foundation of knowledge in order to be able to provide each client with the best treatment plan for them. Kimberly is in good standing with the College Of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Liane MarrRegistered Chiropodist
After completing a B.Sc.(Hons) degree at the University of Toronto, Liane went on to study Chiropody at the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences. A good standing member of the College of Chiropodists of Ontario since 2006, Liane continues to practice in a variety of settings including community health, multidisciplinary health and at-home services.
Liane is also certified in Foot Mobilization Therapy which enhances treatment outcomes for various foot ailments and conditions. Liane provides comprehensive footcare services and assessments for patients of all ages. As well, she assesses for, prescribes, and dispenses foot-related products such as custom foot orthotics, orthopedic footwear, compression stockings, and various medicaments for nail and skin conditions.
Liane strives to promote healthy and active living amongst her peers and patients alike. Liane has a great passion for sports, especially tennis, and enjoys traveling whenever she can sneak away.
